Troubleshooting Steps
If your Glowforge won't turn on using the power switch on the back, please do the following:
-
Unplug your Glowforge from the outlet.
-
Plug another device directly into the same outlet and see if it works.
-
If the device does not work, have an electrician investigate. It may be a blown fuse, a broken outlet, or something else.
-
If the outlet works, unplug the other end of the cord from the Glowforge itself.
-
Inspect both ends of the power cord; if you notice any damage, try another power cord.
-
If there is no damage to the power cord, plug in the end that goes to the Glowforge, making sure it is completely inserted.
-
Plug the other end of the power cord into the outlet, making sure it is completely inserted.
-
If your Glowforge still won't power on, try another outlet.
If your Glowforge still does not power on after trying the above steps, please contact our team and include a short video of what you see when you try to turn it on. In your video, please show the Glowforge plugged into an outlet, the power cable plugged into the back of the machine, and the power switch being turned on.
