Join is a tool that connects vector shapes together. This feature can be used when you have two or more vector shapes that you want to combine into a single shape for cutting.

Here is an example of using the tool to make customized ornaments:

1. Go to Glowforge Print (app.glowforge.com), and sign in.

2. Open the designs you want to use in the Design Workspace. The Join tool is able to be used when there are at least two vectors objects.

3. First you select the objects you want to combine, and then you’ll see a Join button in the left toolbar. It looks like two solid overlapping squares. If this tool doesn't come up, you might only have one object selected, or your selections might not all be vectors as required.

4. Clicking that performs a single Join operation. Here’s what my shapes look like combined, after adding a cut hole and engravable date to it:

And the final result: adorable ornaments for the whole family!
